What we do

We prepare, assess, and document conformity.

AmericanQMS is an International conformity assessment body. We train your team to the relevant ISO standard or CE conformity requirements, assess your operations or product evidence, and issue the appropriate AmericanQMS document.

01

Prepare

We orient your team to the ISO standard or CE conformity requirements relevant to your organization or product, then guide the documentation and controls needed for a practical path to conformity.

02

Assess

We conduct the applicable ISO audit or CE product-conformity review against published requirements, available technical evidence, and the defined scope.

03

Document

Successful ISO audits may result in an AmericanQMS certificate. CE support results in the appropriate assessment or readiness documentation supporting the manufacturer’s conformity responsibilities.

Certification, assessment, and product conformity

ISO certification and CE marking conformity for management systems and regulated products.

AmericanQMS conducts conformity assessments against the published ISO standards most commonly required by buyers, regulators, and supply chains worldwide, plus CE marking readiness support for products entering the European market.

Common questions

Straight answers, before you ask.

Who is AmericanQMS?

AmericanQMS is an International conformity assessment body with U.S.-based leadership and an international operations team. We train organizations to internationally published ISO standards — including ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, 27001, 13485, 22000, and others — audit their operations against those standards, and issue certificates upon successful completion. Our certifications serve organizations across the United States and international markets that need credible, accessible quality assurance for customers, supply chains, tenders, and supplier qualification.

Which ISO standards do you certify or assess against?

We currently conduct conformity assessments for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO/IEC 27001, ISO 13485, ISO 22000, ISO 20000-1, ISO 50001, and ISO 22301. We also conduct independent alignment assessments against ISO 10002 and ISO 31000, which are guideline standards rather than certifiable requirements standards, and ISO/IEC 17025 readiness assessments for laboratories preparing for accreditation. Need a standard not listed? Get in touch — we work across the full ISO catalog.

How long does the certification process take?

Most organizations complete the full process — gap assessment through certificate issuance — in approximately 6 to 12 weeks depending on the standard, current state of operations, and the speed at which your team can implement the required documentation and practices.

What’s included in annual surveillance?

Annual surveillance is a documented review confirming your management system remains in conformity with the applicable ISO standard. It is a lighter-touch audit than the initial Stage 2 and is included in your three-year certification cycle to maintain the certificate.

Can my customers verify my certificate?

Yes. Any party can confirm the status, scope, issue date, and expiry of an AmericanQMS certificate through our public Certificate Verification portal — using either the certificate number or the certified company name.
